Close ‘the loop’ on feeding those in need

Fruit Loop is a sweet new corporate challenge from Foodbank Victoria. Teams of four will battle it out to see who can pick the most apples for FOODBANK in one day - and raise much needed funds along the way. From farm gate…to family plate, we’re closing ‘the loop’ on feeding those in need.

Our goal is to pick more than 50,000 apples straight from the trees at the Montague Orchard in Narre Warren. Our friends at Montague will donate the apples to Foodbank where they’ll be rushed fresh and crunchy to the more than 500 charities we support every single day.

Teams will also fundraise to help us continue to close ‘the loop’. These funds will go straight to Foodbank where for every $1 donated, that’s TWO meals created. So it’s a double impact day.

The time is ripe to get your team of four together and get on board this super fun day! Together, we can help feed those in need with fresh fruit AND fantastic fundraising!

Meet our Special Guest

Fruit Loop teams will have a chance to meet and hear from Ben Shewry, owner and chef of critically acclaimed restaurant Attica, and one of Australia's most celebrated and inspiring chefs.

Hailing from New Zealand, Ben has called Melbourne home for more than twenty years now. He is passionate about sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients, reducing food waste, and supporting local producers. His commitment to excellent service and sustainability makes him a perfect guest speaker for our Celebration Dinner.

Why join Fruit Loop?

By taking part in Fruit Loop for Foodbank Victoria, you’ll help us feed the 57,000 people who lean on us every day. We’re a mega pantry for 500 charities right across Vic who rely on our food to support their locals. Without friends like you, we wouldn’t be able to make sure mums and dads and their kids have regular access to the healthy and culturally appropriate food they need to thrive.
